Vincent Skinner interviews Pastor Koni Oberle of Weinberg Church about his life testimony. Koni was born in a women’s prison in 1959, placed in an orphanage until age four, then adopted by loving parents. He began drinking at 13, became successful in business while living a double life of alcohol, gambling, and drugs, and after a failed marriage and divorce he eventually left everything and lived homeless in Frankfurt from 1990–1993, including three and a half years under a bridge, drinking to avoid withdrawal shakes. Thinking of his daughter, he called his father for help, entered a Christian rehab in 1993, gave his life to Jesus after four weeks, became the pastor’s secretary, and later joined a mission effort to Uganda. The episode ends with an invitation to accept Jesus and support the ministry.
